Meet Your Therapist

Aside from being a therapist I'm a life long New Jerseyan, avid outdoorsman, music fanatic, so-so photography, and huge book nerd. I've been in the field since 2015 and have been fortunate enough to work in a wide variety of settings and with a ton of different clientele. I started my practice in 2023 to focus on helping early in life adults overcome their worry, self-doubt and confusion in order to start creating a meaningful life. I find that all too often, we're sort of just plopped into adulthood after our high school diploma, with little direction and still carrying our baggage.
Since starting in the field I've learned a lot of different interventions and strategies for helping people and have a pretty extensive toolbox of therapy techniques and approaches. No matter what tool I'm using in session, at the heart of any therapy technique is the client - therapist relationship. I strive to meet people where they're at, provide a casual feel to therapy, and be a source of support and validation, all while helping you reach your goals.
Clinical Experience
Over my career I've worked with clients ranging in age from 5 to 60. A great deal of my time in the field has been spent working in Partial Hospitalization Programs and schools. I've worked with a variety of diagnoses and have always been fortunate to have a strong and knowledgeable team around me. Aside from providing individual, group, and family therapy, I've also had the privilege to present on a variety of mental health and behavior management topics. Currently I focus on individual therapy, providing mental health programing for schools, colleges, and other local agencies, and consultation in my practice.
Therapy Approach
My approach is a foundation built on cognitive behavioral and person centered therapies, incorporating elements from ACT, CFT, and DBT. In non-therapist terms I help my clients confront unhelpful belief patterns, build self-compassion, learn different skills, and change behaviors that no longer serve them. While I generally utilize an eclectic approach in my practice, for the treatment of OCD I specifically utilize exposure and response prevention.
